The Protec hangar door is the insulated hangar overhead door for very large sizes. This type of door hardly has any limitations with regard to height and width. It is specially developed for applications that are subject to requirements with regard to ease of use and cost-efficiency for large apertures. Hangar overheaddoors have many benefits compared to traditional sliding doors and large PVC fabric cloths.

These benefits are huge, among other things, relating to unrestricted use in the event of large wind loads, guides are no longer present in the floor, the possibility of realising high insulation values by using various door thicknesses, low maintenance costs and low replacement costs in the event of damage due to the modular structure.

In situations where large apertures require a limited number of opening and closing movements, it is possible to divide the aperture using mobile transitional columns. These transitional columns can be designed as both manually and electrically operated. This yields major benefits with regard to cost-efficiency, wind load and controllability of many other factors.

By constructing the door from various panels it is possible to shorten the delivery and assembly times. Because of this construction, the door leaf is also less likely to be damaged. These large doors are also available as sound-insulating, burglar-resistant and/or fire-retardant models.
